RRI.CO.ID, Jakarta: The Ministry of Creative Economy is committed to continuously strengthening the creative economy sector as part of efforts to maintain national economic resilience amid global dynamics. This step aligns with the message delivered by the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Prabowo Subianto, during a briefing to the Red and White Cabinet at the Merdeka Palace in Jakarta on Wednesday, April 8, 2026.
In his remarks, the President highlighted global dynamics marked by conflict and uncertainty, while emphasizing that Indonesia has been able to keep its national development on track and navigate various challenges with effective and reliable governance.
“Thank God, our government—of which you are all a part under my leadership—has, for the past one and a half years, been able to steer the direction of our nation’s development. What we need is real work, real results for the people. Achievements must be measurable and directly felt by the public,” the President stated.
Following this directive, Minister of Creative Economy, Teuku Riefky Harsya, affirmed that the creative economy sector continues to be driven to deliver tangible impacts on the national economy.
“The hexahelix collaboration between government, industry, academia, communities, media, and investors is key to ensuring that the creative economy ecosystem grows rapidly, sustainably, and delivers real benefits to society,” he said.
The Minister also added that the Ministry is strengthening support for creative MSMEs and advancing the digitalization of the creative industry to enhance competitiveness, while promoting international collaboration to expand the global market for Indonesian creative products.
In line with the President’s directive, the Ministry remains optimistic that the creative economy can become a new engine of growth, while also creating quality jobs and strengthening national competitiveness. This effort is supported by a transformation toward a more productive and adaptive work culture, through the #KitaMulaiCaraBaru campaign as part of a collective step to reinforce national resilience.
