RRI.CO.ID, Jakarta - The Ministry of State-Owned Enterprises ensures that the restructuring and transformation process of state-owned companies continues fundamentally to enhance competitiveness and corporate financial health. Head of Regulatory Agency of the State-Owned Enterprises, Dony Oskaria, in Jakarta, Tuesday, April 7, 2026, stated that the restructuring of SOEs this year is targeted to be completed on time and fundamentally.
"This year we must complete the entire restructuring of state-owned enterprises and it is expected to be finished on time. And not only on time, but also fundamentally completed," Dony conveyed to the media after the meeting.
In an effort to strengthen competitiveness, the government is also consolidating various strategic sectors. One of these is the merger of several asset management companies into a larger and more competitive entity. A similar step is being taken in the logistics sector, where 15 companies will be merged into one national logistics company.
"God willing, it will also be completed within this month." We will announce 15 companies merging into one national logistics company. Now we will report them one by one. God willing, hopefully the process of SOE transformation will be faster and its benefits will be increasingly felt by the Indonesian people," Dony stated.
Furthermore, the government is also encouraging the strengthening of the public transportation sector, particularly railroads. The electrification of railroad lines on several strategic routes such as Jakarta–Rangkas, Jakarta–Cikampek, and Jakarta–Sukabumi is being prepared to improve services for the public.
"So indeed, we must make this train company a healthy one so that it can provide good public transportation services to the Indonesian people," he said.
The government emphasizes that all these transformation steps aim to accelerate the performance of state-owned enterprises (BUMN) while ensuring that public services continue to run optimally, and even improve in the future.
