Vice Marshal Reviews Security System of Roesmin Nurjadin Air Force Base

RRI.CO.ID, Jakarta - Deputy Chief of Air Force Staff, Vise Marshal TNI Tedi Rizalihadi, conducted a working visit to Pekanbaru to review the readiness of the security system at Roesmin Nurjadin Air Force Base on Wednesday, 1 April 2026. The Indonesian Air Force continues to strengthen the airbase security system to support modern and integrated operational readiness.

This information was conveyed in a press statement received by RRI VOI on Tuesday, 3 April 2026. This activity aims to ensure that the airbase meets adequate security standards.

The Deputy Chief of Staff of the Air Force received a presentation from the Commander of Roesmin Nurjadin Air Base, First Marshal TNI Abdul Haris, regarding the concept of developing a security system at Lanud Rsn. The presentation included a strategic plan to strengthen surveillance across the entire base area.

"Airbase security must be carried out comprehensively, taking into account various potential vulnerabilities and environmental conditions that can affect operations," Abdul Haris said.

The Deputy Chief of Staff also emphasized the importance of utilizing the latest technology to enhance supervision while also supporting the identification and investigation process in the event of an incident. The directive prioritizes safety in every operational procedure carried out.

Next, the Deputy reviewed the supporting facilities of the security system as well as several monitoring points in the operational area. This review aims to directly observe the field conditions and the effectiveness of the available security devices.

The Deputy Chief of Staff of the Air Force was also accompanied by top-officials of the Air Force. All of the personnel participated in monitoring the strengthening of this strategic airbase.
