RRI.CO.ID, Jakarta - The Indonesian Air Force Academy (AAU) drum corps unit, "Gita Dirgantara," successfully enchanted the people of Manado through a festive parade performance on Saturday, 28 March 2026. According to a press statement received by RRI VOI on Tuesday, 31 March 2026, this performance by Level III AAU Cadets was enthusiastically welcomed by residents who crowded along the protocol routes.

The parade took a strategic route starting from the front of the Manado Convention Center and ending at the Getsemani Boulevard Park area. Thousands of spectators witnessed the energetic actions of these future officers, who demonstrated extraordinary teamwork along the streets.

With high energy, the Gita Dirgantara drum corps performed arrangements of national and regional songs packaged in an attractive and modern style. Songs ranging from "Rayuan Pulau Kelapa" to "Manuk Dadali" resonated strongly, reflecting the high discipline and esprit de corps of the cadets.

This performance was not merely entertainment, but a tangible manifestation of the musical talent and strong character of AAU Cadets as future leaders of the Indonesian Air Force. Local residents gave immense appreciation for the high standard of professionalism displayed by the drum corps unit.

AAU Governor, Rear Marshal Donald Kasenda, along with members of the Regional Leadership Coordination Forum and TNI-Polri, was present to witness the parade firsthand. He was accompanied by the AAU Cadet Patron, Mrs. Meidy Donald Kasenda, and received official salutes from the cadets at the main stage.

This parade activity is an essential part of the "Cakra Wahana Paksa" (CWP) training series for Level III AAU Cadets. The field training was conducted intensively in North Sulawesi Province for three consecutive days from March 28 to March 30, 2026.

Through this activity, it is hoped that the relationship between the Indonesian Air Force and the people of North Sulawesi will become closer and more harmonious. The presence of the cadets in Manado also serves as a means of military education promotion while motivating the local youth to serve the country.
