RRI.CO.ID, Karanganyar - Energy and Mineral Resources, Minister Bahlil Lahadalia, ensured national energy supply remains secure during the Eid return travel period. He made the statement during direct inspections at fuel stations in Sragen and Karanganyar, Central Java on Thursday, March 26, 2026.

In his ministry's press release, Bahlil inspected fuel availability including diesel and gasoline at several public fuel stations. He also reviewed electric vehicle charging stations and electricity generation facilities during the monitoring visit.

“We checked fuel availability including diesel and gasoline, electric charging stations, and several power plants,” Bahlil said. He added that coordination among stakeholders ensured energy supply remained stable from D-10 of Eid until Thursday.

The ministry confirmed that fuel and liquefied petroleum gas supplies are sufficient during Eid homecoming and return flows. This, according to Bahlil, allows people to travel and gather with families without concerns about energy shortages.

Bahlil further emphasized that the government guarantees energy stability despite global supply disruptions caused by Middle East conflicts. He urged the public not to panic and continue using energy resources wisely during the holiday period.

“The President ordered us to seek oil supplies from various countries and optimize domestic energy sources,” he said. He added that diesel supply is expected to no longer rely on imports.

For gasoline, Indonesia still imports 50 percent of them, while the rest is fulfilled domestically. The government is also seeking alternatives, including the crude oil.

Bahlil also affirmed that public participation is essential in maintaining sustainable energy usage nationwide. He urged people to use fuel and household energy efficiently to support national energy security efforts.
