Transportation Minister Monitors Transportation Services for Eid Exodus

RRI.CO.ID, Jakarta - Indonesian Transportation Minister Dudy Purwagandhi emphasized that all transportation facilities and public services during the Eid al-Fitr 1447 Hijri exodus and return period will operate smoothly, safely, and optimally.

“The government is committed to ensuring that all transportation facilities and public services run well during the homecoming and return travel period,” Minister Dudy said while monitoring the Transportation Information and Communication Technology Center (Pusintrans) at the Ministry of Transportation headquarters in Jakarta on Saturday, March 21, 2026, as quoted by Antara.

According to Ministry of Transportation data, the peak of the exodus occurred on Wednesday, March 18, 2026 (D-3), with high movement across almost all modes of transport. The return flow is expected to peak on March 24, 2026. The public is encouraged to monitor travel conditions regularly through official channels provided by the ministry.

Minister Dudy invited the public to access real-time information on the 2026 Eid transportation movement, both exodus and return, via Nusantara Hub Live Streaming. The channel serves as an official source of information, enabling people to view current conditions directly and avoid being misled by unverified reports.

Monitoring is supported by the 2026 Integrated Eid Transportation Command Post, which functions as a national coordination center during the holiday period. Through Nusantara Hub, the public can access the latest updates on traffic, transportation, weather, and vulnerable points at key hubs.

Minister Dudy explained that Nusantara Hub is the ministry’s integrated digital platform designed to support cross-modal transportation services. The platform also facilitates the implementation of free, integrated homecoming services, making the process safer, more transparent, and coordinated.

The monitoring service is available through the Ministry of Transportation’s official Nusantara Hub – Live Streaming channel at https://nusantara.kemenhub.go.id/layanan/info-mudik/live-streaming and via Contact Center 151 for official information and complaints.

The minister urged the public to rely on Nusantara Hub Live Streaming as their main reference for monitoring travel conditions during the Eid al-Fitr holiday.
