RRI.CO.ID, West Bandung: Indonesia’s state-owned energy company, Pertamina, reaffirmed its readiness to serve energy needs ahead of Eid holiday travel in West Bandung, Monday, March 16, 2026. The statement was delivered during a working visit by the Deputy Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources. The visit reviewed facilities at Fuel Terminal Bandung Group Padalarang in West Java.

The working visit formed part of monitoring activities under the National Ramadan and Eid Energy Sector Post 2026. It aims to ensure energy availability for public mobility and tourism during the holiday period. The Indonesian government prioritizes stable energy supply during peak travel seasons.

During the visit, the Deputy Minister appreciated Pertamina’s proactive steps in maintaining stock resilience. Fuel Terminal Padalarang plays a crucial role in supporting fuel and LPG distribution. The terminal supplies Greater Bandung and surrounding areas, where demand is expected to increase.

Vice President Director of Pertamina Patra Niaga, Taufik Aditiyawarman, highlighted strong coordination with the Indonesian government. He said coordination ensures stable energy supply during national holidays and Ramadan. This includes preparation for the Eid al-Fitr holiday period.

Taufik added that Pertamina activated its Ramadan and Eid Task Force on March 9, 2026. The team conducts regular monitoring of energy distribution across regions. It also coordinates with the national command post of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources.

“Nationally, Pertamina has prepared extensive energy distribution infrastructure to face Ramadan and Eid. This includes 2,420 fuel stations operating 24 hours and 6,300 standby LPG agents across regions. Additionally, 200 tank trucks are on standby, along with BBM & Kiosk Pertamina Siaga services at 64 locations,” Taufik said.

For western Java regions, including West Java, Jakarta, and Banten, additional services have been prepared. These include 427 fuel stations operating 24 hours and 2,180 standby LPG agents. There are also 206 LPG bulk filling stations supporting distribution needs.

In West Java, Pertamina deployed additional services to anticipate traffic congestion during peak travel. These include 52 Pertamina Delivery Service motor units and 563 Bright Gas agents. There are also 62 standby tank trucks and 11 Serambi MyPertamina facilities.

Vice President Corporate Communication Pertamina, Muhammad Baron, emphasized full system readiness during the visit. He said Pertamina increased stock levels and uses digital monitoring systems in real time.

“We see the Deputy Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources’ visit as a momentum to ensure that Pertamina’s entire distribution system is fully ready. Pertamina has increased energy stock supply (build-up stock) to anticipate rising consumption during Ramadan and Eid, especially during the homecoming and return flows. We continue striving to ensure energy is always available to accompany the public in celebrating Eid al-Fitr. We wish everyone a safe and comfortable homecoming journey and Eid holiday in 2026,” Baron said.

Pertamina also supports Indonesia’s target of Net Zero Emission by 2060 through sustainable programs. The company promotes initiatives aligned with Sustainable Development Goals and ESG principles. These efforts reflect its commitment to governance, public service, and environmental sustainability.
