RI.CO.ID, Jakarta – Commission XI of the House of Representatives (DPR) appointed five members to the Financial Services Authority (OJK) Board of Commissioners for the 2026–2031 term. Friderica Widyasari Dewi, known as Kiki, was elected Chair of the OJK Board of Commissioners.
Hernawan Bekti Sasongko was appointed Deputy Chair. Commission XI also named Hasan Fawzi as Chief Executive of the Capital Market, Financial Derivatives, and Carbon Exchange Supervisory Agency.
Adi Budiarso was appointed Chief Executive of the Financial Sector Technology, Innovation, Digital Financial Assets, and Crypto Assets Supervisory Agency.
Dicky Kartikoyono was appointed Chief Executive of the Financial Services Business Conduct, Education, and Consumer Protection Supervisory Agency.
House Commission XI Speaker Mukhamad Misbakhun said the five strategic positions were agreed upon during an internal meeting. “The decision was made after a fit-and-proper test of ten candidates,” he said in Jakarta on Wednesday, March 11, 2026.
According to Misbakhun, the decision will be brought to the DPR plenary session scheduled for Thursday, March 12, 2026. He confirmed that competence and professionalism were the basis for Commission XI’s decision-making process. “We reappointed Ms. Kiki because she has provided positive responses, especially on several fundamental issues within the OJK, in a short period of time,” he said.
Previously, Commission XI conducted a fit-and-proper test on ten candidates for the OJK Board of Commissioners.
President Prabowo Subianto submitted the candidates’ names in an official letter to the DPR. The candidates included Friderica Widyasari Dewi, Agus Sugiarto, Hernawan Bekti Sasongko, Ary Zulfikar, Hasan Fawzi, Darmansyah, Dicky Kartikoyono, Danu Febrianto, Adi Budiarso, and Anton Daryono.
When running for OJK leadership, Kiki said she felt called to the position after observing a leadership vacuum within the institution. “I feel called to lead and steer the OJK during these challenging times,” she said.
Kiki is an alumna of Gadjah Mada University (UGM) in Yogyakarta and California State University in the United States. The 50-year-old previously served as Chief Executive of the Financial Services Business Conduct, Education, and Consumer Protection Supervision Division of the OJK.
In January 2026, she served as Acting Chairperson and Deputy Chairperson of the OJK Board of Commissioners following the resignation of several OJK leaders, including then-Chairperson Mahendra Siregar.
Before her career at the OJK, Kiki was Director of Development at the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) from 2009 to 2015. She later served as President Director of PT Kustodian Sentral Efek Indonesia (2016–2019) and PT BRI Danareksa Sekuritas (2020–2022). (Misni Parjiati/Lasti Martina)
