RRI.CO.ID, Jakarta - Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto summoned several ministers of the Red and White Cabinet to the Presidential Palace on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, for a meeting focused on national energy issues and preparations for Eid al-Fitr 1447 H.

Among those in attendance were Coordinating Minister for Food Affairs Zulkifli Hasan, Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Bahlil Lahadalia, and Minister of Religious Affairs Nasaruddin Umar.

Speaking to reporters, Minister Bahlil noted that the limited cabinet meeting was likely centered on readiness for the upcoming holiday, with discussions revolving around energy and food supplies.

“The agenda will not be far from energy and food issues, as well as our preparations for Eid al-Fitr,” he said upon arrival at the Presidential Palace.

He added that the talks would also cover the availability of staple goods, energy, and LPG, all of which are directly tied to national economic stability during Ramadan and Eid.

“We are now on the 13th day of fasting, so this concerns the availability of basic necessities, energy, and LPG, along with other factors linked to the national economy,” Minister Bahlil explained.

Meanwhile, Coordinating Minister Zulkifli Hasan said he would report findings from recent inspections in several regions, including updates on food supply conditions and government programs at the local level.

“I’ll be reporting first. The President assigned me to check the field three days a week -- on food availability, MBG, village operations, and fishing communities,” he stated.

Minister of Religious Affairs Nasaruddin Umar added that he would brief the President on religious agendas, particularly preparations for the commemoration of Nuzulul Quran. “Not yet explained in detail; we’re here to report on Nuzulul Quran,” he said. (Misni Parjiati/Sri Wahyuni)
