RRI.CO.ID, Jakarta: The Financial Services Authority (OJK) and the Criminal Investigation Agency of the Indonesian Police (Bareskrim Polri) strengthened law enforcement cooperation in the financial services sector. The agreement was signed in Jakarta on Tuesday, March 3, 2026. The move highlights the Indonesian Government’s commitment to safeguarding financial stability and public trust.

The renewal strengthens institutional collaboration amid increasingly complex financial crime challenges.
The scope of cooperation includes the exchange and utilization of relevant data and strategic information. It also covers coordinated law enforcement efforts across the financial services sector. Coordination in handling criminal cases remains another important focus under the agreement.
The partnership further emphasizes the development and effective deployment of qualified human resources. It also allows the shared utilization of facilities and supporting infrastructure when necessary. These measures aim to improve operational readiness and strengthen institutional capacity.
This agreement marks a strategic step to reinforce structured and sustainable interagency coordination. It seeks to protect the integrity and stability of Indonesia’s financial system comprehensively. Public confidence in financial institutions remains a top priority for the Indonesian Government.
Through this cooperation, OJK and Bareskrim Polri committed to strengthening preventive and repressive measures consistently. The focus includes crimes with high complexity and wide public impact across regions. All actions will align with prevailing laws and applicable national regulations.
The collaboration is expected to enhance case handling effectiveness across jurisdictions. It will accelerate coordination among Indonesian law enforcement authorities at various levels. The agencies stressed that strong institutional synergy is essential for sustainable economic growth.
