RRI.CO.ID, Jakarta – The Indonesian Air Force (TNI AU) held a Coordination Meeting of the TNI AU Personnel fulfilment Task Force in Cilangkap, Jakarta, on Monday, 23 February 2026. The meeting was chaired by the Deputy Chief of Staff of the Air Force, Vice Marshal Tedi Rizalihadi.

In his directive, the Vice Chief of Staff emphasized that personnel fulfilment must be based on precise organizational workforce planning aligned with the development of TNI AU force capabilities. He also stressed the importance of implementing merit-based principles at every stage of selection and career development to ensure objectivity, transparency, and professionalism.

In an official statement received by RRI VOI on Tuesday night, 24 February 2026, he also stated that educational curricula need to be aligned with operational requirements and that career development management must be structured and tiered. The curriculum must also be competency-based and uphold the principle of placing the right person in the right position.

He underscored the need to foster cross-functional synergy to ensure that personnel fulfilment and development policies are implemented in an integrated manner and oriented toward operational readiness.

The Vice Chief of Staff also expressed appreciation for the orderly, secure, and accountable selection processes for Special Career Officer (Pa PK) Specialist Doctors, the Short-Term Voluntary Military Pilot School (PSDP), and the selection of cadets for the Indonesian Cadet Corps. These processes are considered capable of producing qualified and competent prospective personnel in line with the organizational needs of the Indonesian Air Force.

The coordination meeting also featured a presentation by the Deputy Assistant for Personnel, First Marshal Indan Gilang Buldansyah, Head of the TNI AU Personnel Fulfilment Task Force. He outlined the current progress in personnel fulfilment and the preparatory steps required for the implementation of education and career development programs.

The meeting is expected to produce strategic measures to strengthen the Indonesian Air Force’s human resource management effectively and sustainably. The event was also attended by other senior Indonesian Air Force officials.
