RRI.CO.Id, Aceh - Synergy between the Indonesian Military (TNI) and Indonesian Police (Polri) in post-disaster handling was once again demonstrated through a high-level working visit to Aceh Tamiang Regency, Wednesday, 28 January 2026. The Deputy Commander of TNI, along with the Governor of the Police Academy, Governors of the Armed Forces Academies, and Senior Officers of Police Academy, directly inspected the physical targets of flood debris cleaning carried out by Cadets.
The visit focused on two vital public facilities, namely SD Tualang Cut 1 and Manyak Payed Health Center. The presence of these top leaders across branches aims to ensure the environmental normalization process runs optimally so that education and health services for the community can be restored quickly.
Head of the Public Information Bureau (Karo Penmas) of the Polri Public Relations Division, Brigadier General Trunoyudo Wisnu Andiko, stated that this activity is not just a technical inspection, but a strong representation of the state's presence in the midst of community difficulties.
"The working visit of the Deputy Commander of TNI along with the Governor of Police Academy and Governors of the Armed Forces Academies aims to directly inspect the physical targets of flood debris cleaning carried out by Police Academy Cadets. We want to ensure that education and health facilities can be used again by the community," Brigadier General Trunoyudo Wisnu Andiko stated in his statement, Thursday, 29 January 2026.
In addition to monitoring physical work, the delegation also took the time to dialogue directly with local residents and hand over social assistance. This step was taken to boost the morale of the community affected by the flash flood disaster some time ago.
He added that the interaction between leaders, cadets, and the community has profound educational and empathetic value for the prospective officers. "In addition to the inspection, the delegation also handed over assistance and interacted with the community as a form of moral support and concern for post-disaster recovery. This is part of the character building of Cadets to be sensitive to the difficulties of the people," he said.
To date, the collaboration between TNI, Polri, and the community in Aceh Tamiang continues to accelerate the cleaning of flood debris so that the social and economic wheels of the community can return to normal. This activity is expected to be an example for post-disaster handling efforts in other areas, as well as strengthen the synergy between TNI, Polri, and the community in facing disaster challenges.
