Indonesian Air Force Bolsters Solidarity Amid Global Dynamics

RRI.CO.ID, Jakarta – The Indonesian Air Force (TNI AU) held its monthly flag-raising ceremony at the Headquarters in Cilangkap, East Jakarta, on Monday, 19 January 2026. The ceremony was led by Expert Staf, Rear Marshal Marsudiranto Widiyatmaka.

He delivered a mandate from the Commander of the Indonesian Military (TNI), General Agus Subiyanto. He reminded all ranks to improve their technical, physical, mental and disciplined abilities as a foundation for professionalism.

In an official statement received by RRI VOI on Monday, 19 January 2026, he said that the soldiers must improve technical proficiency, physical and mental resilience, discipline, and inter-agency synergy.

In the written remarks, he also encouraged awareness of developments in the global strategic environment as part of Indonesia's readiness to face international geopolitical dynamics.

"Maintain preparedness in facing all forms of threats and foster solidarity and togetherness, both within the TNI and in relations with people," the Commander stated in his written remarks.

Related to the role of TNI in regional stability, General Subiyanto’s mandate specifically urged personnel to remain vigilant regarding global strategic developments and international geopolitics.
