KBRN, Jakarta: The Indonesian government is currently focusing on restructuring non-civil servant (non-ASN) personnel recorded in the National Civil Service Agency (BKN) database. This was revealed during a meeting between BKN Chairman, Zudan Arif, and the Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform (PANRB) Minister, Rini Widyantini.

According to Zudan, BKN and the PANRB Ministry are continuously discussing steps to resolve issues related to non-ASN personnel and the continuation of the 2024 Government Employees with Work Agreements (PPPK) selection process.

"This reflects the government's commitment to address non-ASN personnel," he said on Sunday, February 2, 2025, as quoted by rri.co.id.

Zudan added that the second phase of the PPPK selection is planned to be held in April 2025, with a target completion date in July 2025. "We are focused on finalizing the restructuring of non-ASN personnel that are prioritized in the BKN database," he emphasized.

However, Zudan said he did not rule out other alternatives for honorary workers outside the BKN database.

“The condition is that they have worked for at least two consecutive years and have active status,” he said.

Zudan emphasized that all decisions and regulations for the arrangement of non-ASN personnel are being prepared by the government. “We hope this will be completed soon along with the completion of the second phase of PPPK selection,” he said. ***
