KBRN, Jakarta: The high level of public satisfaction with the performance of the Prabowo-Gibran administration serves a reminder to maintain good performance, Presidential Communication Office Spokesperson Prita Laura said.
“This is an alarm. Maintaining this is often more difficult than improving,” Prita said in a conversation with Pro 3 RRI on Wednesday, January 22, 2025, as quoted by rri.co.id.
Prita said that the government will continue to work well despite the high level of public satisfaction with the government's performance.
The public satisfaction, according to Prita, is felt as a trigger of enthusiasm for the government. “Good work from all of us results in benefits being felt,” she said.
However, Prita considers it normal if some people are not satisfied with the government's performance. This becomes material for evaluation.
“Indeed, we see that those who are dissatisfied are people who are critical. This is feedback for all of us,” she said, expressing hope that it will become constructive criticism, thus encouraging the government to serve the community better.
Litbang Kompas released the result of a survey on the government's 100 days of work on Monday, January 20, 2025, which recorded a satisfaction rate of 80.9 percent among respondents.
The survey, which involved 1,000 respondents in 38 provinces, was conducted on January 4-10, 2025.
Respondents who said they were satisfied with the performance of the Prabowo-Gibran administration also included those who did not vote for the pair in the presidential election. The satisfaction rate of respondents who were not Prabowo-Gibran voters averaged above 70 percent. ***
