The Weeknd’s Jakarta Concert Delivers Unforgettable Moments

RRI.CO.ID, Jakarta - The Weeknd’s After Hours Til Dawn Tour Concert at Jakarta International Stadium (JIS) on September 26–27, 2026, was met with extraordinary enthusiasm. The concert featured several special moments, including when The Weeknd, also known as Abel Tesfaye from Canada, invited audience members to sing alongside him on stage.

“I didn’t expect it would take this long to come back and see you all,” said Abel while greeting the crowd on Saturday, September 26, 2026.

On the first day of the concert, The Weeknd performed 42 songs, with popular hits such as “After Hours” and “Starboy” included in the setlist. During the first show, Abel invited a fan to sing along while performing “Out of Time.” The audience member was also given the opportunity to hug Abel on stage.

A similar moment occurred during the second day of the concert on Sunday, September 27, 2026. Abel once again approached the audience and noticed a woman holding a sign that read, “I’m ready to sing Out of Time.”

Abel then handed the microphone to the woman, named Alina, and invited her to sing part of the lyrics to “Out of Time.” Alina sang enthusiastically, prompting Abel to appear to hold back laughter. Alina later shared the moment on social media with the caption, “Best moment in my life.”

She expressed that the opportunity to sing alongside The Weeknd was one of the best moments of her life. The interaction became one of the highlights that captured fans’ attention during the second day of the concert.

Not only were the fans enthusiastic, but Abel also admitted he enjoyed the reception from fans during his time in Jakarta. “You made me fall in love with you this week. You really made me fall in love with this city,” he said.

The Weeknd also surprised fans on the second day by performing “Sao Paulo” and “Tokyo Drift,” two songs that were not included in the first night’s setlist.
