RRI.CO.ID, Jakarta – Young Indonesian singer Etenia Croft continues growing her music career through positive songs and collaborations with several today’s well-known Indonesian musicians. The 13-year-old singer released "Jangan Menyerah" ("Don't Give Up"), originally a hit single by Indonesian band D'Masiv.
On the song, Etenia collaborates with Rian from D'Masiv, who also composed the hit single. Speaking in a recent episode of “The Session”, Etenia said they brought fresh new energy to the song through their rendition.
“We gave it a fresh new energy and I even got to duet with Rian from D'Masiv too. You're definitely going to love it,” she said recently. On her Instagram, she said the song reminds listeners to face challenges, never give up, and keep moving forward with determination.
Etenia also expressed excitement and gratitude for covering a song that has inspired and strengthened so many listeners. The duet brings together two generations while delivering one message: keep believing and never give up throughout life.
The official music video for "Jangan Menyerah" is available on Etenia Croft and Semesta Records' official YouTube channels. They filmed the music video together in Japan, capturing their collaboration against the country's scenic and vibrant backdrop.
Listeners can stream the song across all major digital platforms as her second single released this year. Etenia began her music journey two years ago and released her first album in 2025, containing nine songs.
She also was named second runner-up at the Asia Pacific Arts Festival Grand Champion competition in Bangkok in 2023. Through music and collaborations, Etenia hopes to share positive messages while reaching a wider audience through her songs worldwide.
