FIFA Museum Displays Indonesia Jersey at Miami World Cup Exhibition

RRI.CO.ID, Miami - The official FIFA Museum has unveiled a massive multimedia exhibition in Miami, United States, titled Unidad - The World's Game, heavily featuring the official national team jersey of Indonesia alongside legendary memorabilia, including the historic Jules Rimet Trophy.

Staged at the city's historic Freedom Tower, the comprehensive exhibition coincides with the ongoing 2026 FIFA World Cup, serving as a cultural anchor designed to celebrate global soccer unity and showcase the heritage of all 21 members of the international football governing body.

"Seeing the exhibition in this museum will give you goosebumps," Communications Manager for the FIFA Museum, Patrick Tobler, said at the venue on Saturday, July 11, 2026, as quoted by Antara.

Spanning two floors of the Freedom Tower, the exhibition opens on the first level with an interactive multimedia zone. Visitors are greeted by four-player World Cup trivia consoles, immersive Virtual Reality (VR) installations, and rare archival photography documenting the chaotic logistical preparations behind the inaugural 1930 World Cup in Uruguay.

Moving deeper into the hall, spectators encounter a striking, color-coded visual installation showcasing the official home jerseys of all 211 FIFA member associations, including the Indonesian Football Association (PSSI).

Because the display is organized strictly by color scheme, the Indonesian national team kit is integrated into a prominent crimson section, positioned parallel to the home jerseys of international powerhouses Belgium and Egypt.

Directly facing the fabric installation, FIFA has set up digital touchscreens cataloging every jersey on display. By clicking on the Indonesian kit, visitors can access a localized profile detailing PSSI's institutional history and its historic milestones within global World Cup files.

The first floor further charts the technological evolution of the sport, displaying actual match balls used in every tournament since 1930, vintage referee communication apparatuses, and a scale replica of the Telstar 1 satellite, the iconic black-and-white paneled spacecraft that inspired the design of the famous 1970 Mexico World Cup match ball.

Reflecting its host city, the exhibition dedicates a corner to American soccer lore, tracing its growth from the mid-19th century. Highlights include the 1977 North American Soccer League (NASL) championship trophy lifted by Brazilian legend Pelé, alongside the modern Inter Miami MLS jersey worn by Argentinian megastar Lionel Messi.

To transition to the upper level, visitors ascend a staircase enveloped by a massive, iconic photograph of Pelé hoisting the Jules Rimet trophy after Brazil's historic 1970 triumph.

The second floor houses the core historical archive of the World Cup from 1930 through 2022, showcasing match-worn jerseys from legendary captains. Masterpieces on display include the 1930 jersey of Uruguayan captain José Nasazzi and the iconic kit worn by Diego Maradona during his captaincy of Argentina’s triumphant 1986 campaign.

Standing directly before these artifacts are the twin crowns of soccer history: the classic Jules Rimet Trophy (used from 1930 to 1970) and the original silhouette of the FIFA Women’s World Cup Trophy (used from 1991 to 1995). Due to historical security breaches, both pieces are official museum replicas, as the original physical trophies were famously stolen.

The trophies are housed in a theater room equipped with giant projection screens broadcasting historical match highlights wrapped in spatial audio, simulating the exact acoustics of a stadium bowl. The exhibition concludes with an experiential glass room modeled after a supporters' terrace, blasting hyper-realistic stadium chants and fan acoustics to let visitors experience the raw energy of a World Cup crowd.

The Unidad - The World's Game exhibition runs daily throughout the duration of the 2026 FIFA World Cup from 10.00 a.m. to 6.00 p.m. Miami time.
