RRI.CO.ID, Jakarta - Framing music as a gateway to nature and community, PT Mitra Natura Raya opened the two-day Sunset di Kebun (Sunset in the Garden) Festival at Beautiful Indonesia Miniature Park (TMII) on 20–21 June 2026. The organizers positioned the event as a family-friendly gathering that marries live performance, cultural showcases, and environmental awareness.
“We organized this event because of the experience during the COVID-19 pandemic, when public movement was very limited. We want to reintroduce the beauty of nature, so we adopted an outdoor theme,” said General Manager Event at PT Mitra Natura Raya, Abi Irawan, in Jakarta on Saturday, 20 June 2026.
Titled Music Show with Green, Conservation and Culture Movement, the festival stages music acts alongside cultural performances, family activities and green initiatives in an accessible, open-air setting. Over two days, the Sunset di Kebun lineup features Skyline, Reruntuh, Lomba Sihir, Dere, Feast, Hindia, Magnolia Celebration, Alkateri, Fiersa Besari, Perunggu, Nadin Amizah and Tulus.
As reported by Antara, the program also includes a Bird Presentation by Jagat Satwa Nusantara as a featured attraction. Beyond concerts, visitors can explore the Sunset Market offering creative products, a culinary area, art installations, family play zones and interactive activities for all ages.
Under the Kultura subprogram, attendees can watch traditional performances such as Tanjidor, Sirih Kuning dance, Enjot Enjotan dance, Enggang dance, Dholl, and Gek Gek Gong Theater.
The Natura track invites participants into nature-based creative workshops, such as kokedama classes, flower box bouquets, orchid bag charms, and nail art, alongside other educational activities that link creativity to conservation.
Abi said the festival will spotlight the Hoya plant, dubbed a plant hero, highlighting its status as one of the world’s most prized ornamental species. Organizers are also enforcing eco-friendly measures during the event, including waste management, reduced single-use plastics, responsible materials use and interactive conservation education.
“Sunset di Kebun is not just a place to enjoy music. We want to create a space that brings together families, creative communities, creative-economy players and the public in an enjoyable experience that also builds environmental awareness. This festival is a space to celebrate music, culture, creativity and togetherness in one experience,” said Abi.
This year the organizers aim to attract about 5,000 visitors per day and have pledged to ensure a comfortable and safe experience for attendees. ****
