RRI.CO.ID, Jakarta – The DKI Jakarta Provincial Government continuously expands green open spaces as part of its efforts to increase environmental quality and provide comfortable public spaces for the community. One such space that has become increasingly popular among residents on weekends and holidays is Taman Bendera Pusaka in the Kebayoran Baru area of South Jakarta.

The park was officially inaugurated on March 14, 2026, by the Governor of DKI Jakarta, Pramono Anung, alongside the 5th President of the Republic of Indonesia, Megawati Soekarnoputri. Since its opening, the park has attracted visitors seeking recreation and outdoor activities.

Covering an area of 5.6 hectares, the park is divided into three main zones: the eastern zone, the southern zone, and the northern zone. The southern and eastern zones are connected by the Red and White Bridge, which has become one of the park’s iconic landmarks and a favorite photo spot for visitors.

The wide range of facilities available makes the park a popular destination for families as well as people looking to exercise and relax. Visitors can enjoy a 1.2-kilometer jogging track, basketball and padel courts, a library, a prayer room, restrooms, health facilities, and food and beverage kiosks.

Additional attractions include a multipurpose open-air hall, an amphitheater, a lotus pond, and a children’s playground. These facilities provide visitors with various options for recreation, leisure, and community activities.

On weekends and public holidays, Taman Bendera Pusaka is often crowded with people from different backgrounds. Many parents bring their children to enjoy the playground, while others spend their time exercising, walking, or simply relaxing in the park’s open and refreshing environment.

Beyond recreation, the park also offers educational value through the presence of national symbols displayed throughout the area. With its complete facilities, green surroundings, and easy accessibility, Taman Bendera Pusaka serves as a space for recreation, education, and social interaction, while providing an affordable and enjoyable leisure destination for urban communities.
