Cultural diplomats view the victories as a powerful tool to accelerate the global promotion of Indonesia's creative economy and strengthen bilateral artistic ties.
“Film is capable of presenting stories about humanity, culture, and hope that can be understood by anyone, anywhere,” Indonesian Ambassador to Bulgaria, Listiana Operananta said as quoted by the official website of the Indonesian Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Tuesday, June 9, 2026, as quoted by Antara.
Operananta added that cinema remains an invaluable medium for building deep cross-border empathy and fostering mutual understanding between nations.
