Jakarta Future Festival 2026 Promotes Collaboration for City Resilience

RRI.CO.ID, Jakarta – The Jakarta Provincial Government is once again holding the Jakarta Future Festival (JFF) 2026 at Taman Ismail Marzuki Arts Center in Central Jakarta. The event carries the theme "Navigating Resilience".
It aims to address the various challenges facing Jakarta, such as climate change, urban planning, waste management, and housing. The festival focuses on collaboration, innovation, and ideas for the future of the city.
Head of the Jakarta Provincial Development Planning Agency (Bappeda), Hatika Nur Rahmania, said that JFF serves as a platform to gather ideas and aspirations from various segments of society. Hatika added that the festival would feature a variety of programs, including talks and music performances.
"The three-day urban planning festival will feature a variety of programs, including talks divided into two categories—Jakarta Forecast and Urban Talks—as well as community activations, the Urban Lab, JFF for Kids, entertainment performances, urban debates for high school students, and many other activities," she said in a statement quoted from the Jakarta official information service channel, Berita Jakarta, on Thursday, 4 June.
In addition to serving as a forum for discussion, JFF 2026 will offer entertainment for visitors, featuring performances by Malik & D’Essentials, Kahitna, and Nuraymita. JFF is held over three days, from 5-7 June 2026.
Jakarta Governor, Pramono Anung, has officially opened the Jakarta Future Festival (JFF) 2026 on Friday, 5 June. The governor said that JFF is designed to examine various issues and plan Jakarta’s future through a range of approaches.
He also expressed his full support for the event, describing it as vibrant and inclusive, particularly for its involvement of young people in contributing ideas and innovations for the development of Jakarta.
