RRI.CO.ID, Jakarta – F✦FOREVER rekindled memories for thousands of fans during its “F✦FOREVER 1st World Tour” concert on Friday evening, May 29. It took place at the Indonesia Arena in the Gelora Bung Karno complex, Jakarta.

The concert was the second show in the series, following Thursday's performance, May 29, and preceding the final show on Saturday, May 31. The concert was long-awaited as the reunion took place more than 20 years after F4 last performed together in concert in 2003.

Now returning as F✦FOREVER, they unite Jerry Yan, Vanness Wu, Vic Chou, and Mayday lead vocalist, Ashin. Another F4 member, Ken Zhu, is absent from the tour due to a contract issue.

The concert began with the song “Always Be My Bro”. The nostalgic atmosphere grew even stronger as they continued their performance with “Can’t Help Falling In Love” and “Ask For More.”

Besides performing together, each member also had a solo performance. At several moments, they took time to greet fans, take selfies, and shake hands directly with the audience.

The circular stage indeed allowed fans to get a closer view of the members, as they frequently walked around the arena. The rotating main stage with its 360-degree setup further enhanced the show’s grand and modern feel.

The much-awaited moment in the concert was certainly the iconic songs. “Can’t Lose You” famous for the lyric snippet “Oh baby baby” and the melancholic “Season of Fireworks made the audience sing along.

The concert closed with the legendary “Liu Xing Yu (Meteor Rain),” the main soundtrack of Meteor Garden TV series, a nostalgic climax of the night.

The concert was not merely a music show, but a nostalgic journey for fans—mainly millennials and older generations—bringing them back to childhood and teenage memories.
