RRI.CO.ID, Jakarta – Indonesian indie singer, Inggit A Wulan officially continues to pursue her passion in the Indonesian music industry through a heartfelt musical journey. She released an Extended Play (EP) titled “Memoar” on April 25, 2026.
The EP consists of four songs, each representing different emotions and life experiences. The first single, “Cinta Bertahanlah,” was released in January 2026 and written by Dedi Hamid.
In February, Inggit released “Serupa Embun,” a song she wrote herself. She followed it up in April 2026 with another single, “Kesepian,” written by Firman.
Meanwhile, the final song in the EP became Inggit’s most personal release. Titled “Teman Sejati,” the song was dedicated to her late friend, Madinah, who was also a musician.
As quoted by the Instagram account @mute.musik, “Memoar”carries strong pop rock, rock, and slow rock influences while maintaining an emotional touch. The album explores themes of love, life’s impermanence, loss, and the search for meaning through loneliness.
“Memoar” is more than just an EP for Inggit A Wulan. It is a collection of honest stories, memories, love, loss, and hope — a reflection of a long journey that finally found its way back home through music.
In the recent episode of RRI Voice of Indonesia’s music program, The Session, Inggit admitted she never expected to return to the music industry after two decades. Through her performances of songs from “Memoar,” Inggit hopes her music can reach audiences in Indonesia and worldwide.
