RRI.CO.ID, Jakarta - With 100 motorcycles thundering across the Bali Mandara Toll Road and a motorcycles formation spelling "100" on Peninsula Island, Ducati Indonesia turned a global riding event to support Bali's image as a world-class destination.

As reported by Antara, the event was held under the banner We Ride as One and brought together Ducatisti from communities across Indonesia. Departing from the ITDC Nusa Dua area, the convoy culminated at Peninsula Island in a symbolic tribute to the brand's centennial milestone, which Ducati calls its Centenario Ducati.

For Ducati Indonesia CEO Jimmy Budhijanto, the choice of venue was anything but coincidental. The company positioned the ride as a two-pronged effort, which is celebrating brand loyalty while amplifying Bali's global profile through the reach of international automotive communities.

"Beyond being a gathering for Ducatisti, this event is also expected to make a positive contribution in supporting the improvement of Bali's image in the eyes of the international community," said Jimmy in a statement received in Jakarta on Saturday, May 16, 2026.

The event gained added prestige with the attendance of the General Manager of Ducati Corse Off-Road, Paolo Ciabatti, who officially flagged off the riders. Paolo is widely recognized as one of the key figures behind Ducati's MotoGP dominance alongside world champion Francesco Bagnaia.

Before the rolling thunder commenced, participants underwent a mandatory safety briefing, a measure Ducati Indonesia said was implemented to safeguard both riders and other road users throughout the convoy.

Nine Ducati lineups were represented on the road, spanning the Superbike, Multistrada, DesertX, Hypermotard, Streetfighter, Diavel, Monster, Sport Classic, and Scrambler models, reflecting the breadth of the brand's community in Indonesia.

Now in its fourth Indonesian edition, We Ride as One has previously been staged in Jakarta, Yogyakarta, and Mandalika. While this year's event was organized on a more modest scale amid global economic headwinds, Ducati Indonesia kept participation accessible with the intention to offer free accommodation and towing services to the first 100 registered Ducati owners in the country.

The company is banking on the social media footprint of its community and Ducati's global network to carry the promotional message beyond the island's shores.
