The brand’s innovative approach recently caught the attention of the Ministry of Creative Economy. During a visit to the production site on Saturday, May 9, 2026, Irene Umar, the Deputy Minister of Creative Economy and Deputy Head of the Creative Economy Agency (Ekraf), lauded the brand as a blueprint for the future.
"Future Loundry is a clear example of how creativity rooted in local culture and youth subcultures can transform into a resilient economic ecosystem. We appreciate their courage in blending post-apocalyptic aesthetics with a spirit of sustainability as the future identity of the creative economy," she said as quoted on ministry's official website.
Irene Umar emphasized that the government is committed to elevating local intellectual property (IP) like Future Loundry to international standards, ensuring these creative innovations receive the regulatory and mentoring support needed to compete globally.
Additionally, the ministry is focused on scaling intellectual property, moving beyond traditional cultural symbols to reinterpret Indonesian identity through sustainable and modern lenses.
