RRI.CO.ID, Jakarta -Indonesian singer Vionita Sihombing comes back with her latest single titled "Ahli Bermain Cinta" ("Love Player"). The song highlights the bitter story of love that is never truly owned.

In this song, Vionita shares the story of someone who eventually realizes she is never the only one in the relationship.

The word "ahli" literally means "expert" or "skilled". However, in this song, it is not about the skill of loving, but rather the skill of playing with someone else's heart and making her feel special, while the person she trusts has someone else to love.

In the recent episode of The Session, a music program presented by RRI Voice of Indonesia, Vionita explained that "skilled" here refers to a manipulative player.

During the production process, Vionita collaborated with Andre Dinuth and Desmon Latif in writing the song. This is the first time she writes both lyrics and melody of a song. The number of people around Vionita going through similar experiences made the writing process even feel honest and emotional.

Musically, the arrangement is grander than her previous works, featuring a full band concept that builds up to a climax with a touch of guitar distortion to emphasize the feeling of pain and anger.

In this song, Vionita also faced a vocal challenge. Known for her husky and smooth voice, she explores a rounder and cleaner vocal color this time to convey a more genuine emotion. One of the most challenging parts is the whistle section, which required a deeper exploration of vocal technique during recording. Vionita hopes this single will allow people to enjoy more of her work.
