RRI.CO.ID, Jakarta – Canadian pop-punk band Simple Plan has officially confirmed its return to Indonesia for a concert, putting an end to recent speculation. As part of their 'The Bigger Than You Think!' Tour, the band is scheduled to perform in two cities, Jakarta and Surabaya.

Citing the official Instagram account of Akselerasi on Friday, April 24, 2026, the announcement drew an immediate flood of positive responses from netizens. “They’re back! Simple Plan embarks on the ‘The Bigger Than You Think!’ tour,” the post stated.

Rumors of the concert had previously buzzed among music enthusiasts and fans, though no official confirmation existed until now. The shows also mark Simple Plan’s 25th anniversary in the music industry.

The setlist will feature the band’s hit songs along with special material for fans. Ticket sales begin with Artist Presale on May 4, 2026, followed by General Sale on May 5, 2026.

The first concert is set for November 27, 2026, at Tennis Indoor Senayan in Jakarta, with the second on November 28, 2026, at Jatim Expo in Surabaya.

Meanwhile, fan @chandraabudimam commented on the post, identifying as an alum of the 2023 Everblast music festival. “Everblast 2023 alum reporting absent,” they wrote.

Another netizen, @alfianishlah, noted the band’s apparent affection for Surabaya. “Simple Plan really loves the city of Surabaya,” they said.
