JCO to Present Musical Performances from Game and Anime Soundtracks

KBRN, Jakarta: The renown Jakarta Concert Orchestra (JCO) will present a performance of music from popular game and anime soundtracks at Studio RCTI+ Jakarta on December 7, 2024.

Talented soloists and renowned choirs will perform in the show, entitled “Symphonic Saga: Iconic Scores from Anime & Games". Among them include Farman Purnama (tenor), Stefany Yang (soprano), and Sherleen Emmanuel (violin) with the Batavia Madrigal Singers (BMS), The Resonanz Children Choir (TRCC), and TRCC Serunai choirs.

“With Symphonic Saga, we want to provide a different musical experience, presenting iconic moments from anime and games in a grand orchestral format,” said The Resonanz Music Director and Jakarta Concert Orchestra Conductor and Co-founder Avip Priatna in a statement, Thursday.

“We believe this will be a bridge for fans to appreciate classical music through the medium they love,” he added.

The performance of “Symphonic Saga: Iconic Scores from Anime & Games” will feature popular game soundtracks such as Kingdom Hearts III, Legend of Zelda, Persona 5, NieR: Automata, Suikoden II, Pokémon, Chrono Trigger, Super Smash Bros, as well as the Final Fantasy series (X, VII Remake, XV, and XVI).

Popular anime soundtracks such as “Hunter x Hunter”, “Saint Seiya”, “Captain Tsubasa”, “Crayon Shinchan”, “Violet Evergarden”, “One Piece”, “Naruto: Shippūden”, ‘Kimetsu no Yaiba’, and ‘Kimi no Na Wa’ will also be featured.

The performance “Symphonic Saga: Iconic Scores from Anime & Games” is planned to be held in two sessions, the first session at 3.30 p.m. and the second session at 7.30 p.m.

Tickets for the show are on sale through the tiket.com application and website starting November 14, 2024 at 9 a.m. Jakarta time with a price range of Rp235 thousand to Rp1.5 million.
