RRI.CO.ID, Serang – Deallova, a shoe company based in Banten, showcases local uniqueness by fusing contemporary designs with Baduy woven fabric into its footwear offerings. This pairing works as both a brand identity and an attempt to incorporate Banten's cultural values into everyday items.

"The use of Baduy woven fabric was chosen because of its strength and significant cultural worth. This product is one of the most sought-after, especially by visitors from outside the region," said Rini, Deallova's owner, during a dialogue with the RRI Banten Mini Studio on Saturday, February 7, 2026.

The Baduy woven fabric is used in a way that respects cultural values and authenticity, according to Rini. To guarantee comfort without compromising its traditional identity, the ingredients are meticulously blended.

These items, she claims, combine local culture with contemporary market demands. Because they believe they are purchasing a product that is both practical and narrative, many consumers are drawn to them. "They're delighted since these aren't only shoes; they also have cultural value," she added.

Deallova's top sellers include items manufactured using Baduy weaving, according to Rini. "The stock sold out right away on the first day, and it sold out again the following day," she said.

She thinks this excitement shows that there is a significant market demand for items that emphasize local identity. Deallova is encouraged by this to keep coming up with new ideas while maintaining its cultural foundation.

Rini expressed hope that by utilizing Baduy weaving in footwear products, Banten's rich culture will become more widely recognized. She stressed that brand development would continue to adhere to the tenets of cultural respect and local community empowerment. (Misni Parjiati/Bambang MBKA)
