RRI.CO.ID, Jakarta - Pipilaka Foundation held a child-friendly exhibition Pipilaka Calling!, which conveys social and environmental messages using technology. It was held on the 5th floor of the Sarinah Building in Jakarta since 15 December 2025.
Pipilaka Calling! presents five interactive and educational exhibition spaces, which the Indonesian Ministry of Creative Economy/Creative Economy Agency describes as offering "unique experience unlike conventional exhibitions". Visitors are invited to enter the world of Pipilaka, featuring anthropomorphic animal characters who act as storytellers, prompting visitors to reflect on everyday social and environmental issues.
Through a creative and engaging approach, visitors are encouraged to care more about the environment, enjoy the Pipilaka immersive concert, color Pipilaka characters, listen to stories, and interact directly in the Pipilaka Forest. In addition, visitors can purchase a variety of Pipilaka merchandise, including jackets, T-shirts, tote bags, hats, pillows, keychains, and other creative products.

“Pipilaka means 'ant', which carries the philosophy of mutual cooperation. This IP (intellectual property) not only entertains, but also delivers positive messages that visitors can take home, such as caring for the environment," founder of Pipilaka Foundation, Wahyadi Liem, explained as quoted from the ministry's press release on Wednesday, 21 January 2026.
"We chose Sarinah as an immersive space because it is a historical building, easily accessible by public transportation, and family-friendly,” he continued.
Indonesian Minister of Creative Economy/Head of the Creative Economy Agency, Teuku Riefky Harsya, visited Pipilaka Calling! on Wednesday. Accompanied by Deputy Minister of Creative Economy/Deputy Head of the Creative Economy Agency Irene Umar, he was impressed by the exhibition.

"I highly recommend Indonesian children to experience this immersive exhibition, which blends entertainment, interactive audiovisual elements, sing-along activities, and engaging stories about environmental awareness in a very enjoyable way,” Harsya said.
“At Sarinah, there is an immersive space where visitors can dance, sing, and take photos together with Pipilaka IP characters. Of course, the five attractions at Pipilaka Calling! ensure everyone has fun," Irene said.
Previously, Pipilaka installations were presented in Yogyakarta, Special Region of Yogyakarta, from June to August 2024. Pipilaka Calling! remains open to the public until 8 March 2026.
