RRI.CO.ID, Jakarta - China’s Ambassador to Indonesia, Wang Lutong, highlighted the alignment between China’s national modernization drive and Indonesia’s “Golden Indonesia 2045” vision as a powerful foundation for advancing bilateral cooperation.
He noted that under the strategic leadership of both presidents, ties between the two nations continue to gain strong momentum.
“China is advancing its path of modernization, while Indonesia is moving toward ‘Indonesia Emas 2045'. Under the strategic leadership of our two presidents, China-Indonesia relations are showing robust growth,” Wang said in Jakarta on Wednesday, July 15, 2026, as quoted by Antara.
Speaking at a reception hosted by the Chinese Embassy to mark the 105th anniversary of the Chinese Communist Party (CPC), Wang described both countries as major developing nations that value independence and sovereignty in their national development.
He underscored that cooperation between Indonesia and China has made tangible progress across multiple sectors, including infrastructure, industry, digital economy, green development, agriculture, education, culture, and people-to-people exchanges.

He pointed to initiatives such as the Global Development Initiative (GDI), Global Security Initiative (GSI), and other global frameworks as strategic guides to ensure high-quality implementation of the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI).
“These initiatives are China’s way of contributing to global development and mutually beneficial cooperation, opening new opportunities for the world,” he said.
The ambassador also conveyed the CPC’s intention to deepen cooperation and exchanges with the Indonesian government and political parties. He invited Indonesian partners to enhance dialogue on shared concerns such as governance, poverty alleviation, and social management.
Looking ahead, Wang expressed hope that Indonesia and China will continue to build consensus and strengthen bilateral relations in pursuit of their respective national visions. ***
