RRI.CO.ID, Jakarta - Astra and the Indonesian Ministry of Creative Economy are showcasing more than 100 local brands at MASA Singapore 2026, positioning them before international audiences this year. The event serves as a platform for creative industry players to expand business networks while introducing Indonesian works to the global market.
The exhibition features talents from fashion, design, architecture, art, music, culinary, and hospitality sectors, all presenting flagship products to highlight Indonesia’s creative potential.
Creative Economy Minister Irene Umar praised Astra’s support, calling it vital for promoting Indonesian creativity abroad. “Progress in the creative industry requires close collaboration between government, business, communities, and stakeholders,” she noted.
Astra’s Chief of Corporate Affairs, Boy Kelana Soebroto, reaffirmed the company’s commitment to strengthening Indonesia’s creative ecosystem. He emphasized Astra’s philosophy of Catur Dharma--to bring meaningful contributions--while expressing hope that MASA will open wider opportunities for creative entrepreneurs.
Astra also spotlighted community-driven products, including Sumba woven textiles crafted by women artisans in East Nusa Tenggara, as well as works from SMEs under Astra’s foundations and collaborations such as D’apoza and Sepiring Indonesia, which celebrate the richness of Nusantara culture.
Held at Takashimaya Shopping Centre from July 2–5, MASA Singapore 2026 continues with the Indonesia-Singapore Orchid Extravaganza at Gardens by the Bay, running July 4 to August 10.
To date, Astra has nurtured over 1,500 “Desa Sejahtera Astra” (Astra Prosperous Villages) across Indonesia, with 492 villages successfully entering export markets, generating a cumulative value of IDR 411.7 billion. Through MASA, Astra underscores its commitment to fostering creativity, empowering communities, and expanding global market access for Indonesian products. (Diffa Sephiawardhani)
