The initiative was marked by a courtesy visit from a Pakistan Navy delegation led by Commodore Anwar Saeed, Assistant Chief of Naval Staff, to Koarmada II headquarters in Surabaya, East Java, on Thursday, June 25, 2026.
The meeting was hosted by Koarmada II Commander Rear Admiral I G. P. Alit Jaya and confirmed by Koarmada II spokesperson Col. Antonius Februar Prima Hadi on Friday, June 26, 2026.
Antonius described the encounter as a valuable momentum to strengthen dialogue and exchange views on the evolving maritime strategic environment, while also deepening bilateral ties, Antara reported.
