Maria said the movement of second-wave pilgrims from Makkah to Madinah was continuing smoothly. A total of 244 flight groups carrying 93,837 pilgrims and officers had departed as of Sunday.

She also announced the final transfer of Indonesian pilgrims from Makkah to Madinah. The process was scheduled for Monday, June 22, 2026, at 08:00 Saudi Arabian time.

“We ask all pilgrims still in Makkah to adjust their activities according to departure schedules, prepare luggage early, ensure travel documents are stored safely, and remain coordinated with group leaders and officers,” she said.
