RRI.CO.ID, Jakarta - Indonesian Air Force officer, Major Agus Hilmansyah Setiawan, has been awarded the title of Best Graduate and received a Gold Medal in the Military Educational and Scientific Center of Air Force (MSCAF) Program for the 2025–2026 Academic Year at the Prof. N.E. Zhukovsky and Y.A. Gagarin Air Force Academy in Voronezh, Russia.

The award was presented directly by the Commander-in-Chief of the Russian Aerospace Forces, Colonel Genderal Alexander Chaiko, in recognition of his outstanding academic achievements throughout the program.

According to a press release received by RRI Voice of Indonesia (VOI) on Sunday, June 21, 2026, Major Agus Hilmansyah earned the distinction amid competition from participants representing numerous countries. His achievement reflects the ability of Indonesian Air Force officers to excel and compete successfully in an international military education environment.

The MSCAF Program is one of Russia’s strategic military education programs attended by officers from various partner nations. During the 2025–2026 Academic Year, participants came from Russia and several other countries, including Indonesia, China, Vietnam, Mongolia, Laos, Algeria, Belarus, Mali, Libya, Uganda, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, Angola, Guinea, the Republic of the Congo, Uzbekistan, Nicaragua, and Namibia.

The Best Graduate title and Gold Medal earned by Major Agus Hilmansyah represents a significant achievement for the Indonesian Air Force. The accomplishment highlights the quality of its human resources in pursuing advanced education and professional development at the global level.

The experience, knowledge, and competencies acquired during his studies in Russia are expected to contribute positively to organizational development and further enhance the professionalism of the Indonesian Air Force in carrying out its future missions and responsibilities.
