RRI.CO.ID, Jakarta - Ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina to Indonesia, Armin Limo, said his country is interested in strengthening cooperation with several Indonesian defense industry companies, including PT Pindad. Speaking to RRI Voice of Indonesia on Thursday, Armin Limo, said Bosnia and Herzegovina has already established cooperation with PT Pindad as well as several other defense companies in Indonesia.
“There is already some cooperation in place, especially with Pindad,” Armin Limo said.
He explained that during the visit of Bosnia and Herzegovina’s Defense Minister H.E. Zukan Helez to Indonesia last year, the delegation attended a defense industry exhibition and made contacts with a number of Indonesian defense companies, not only PT Pindad.
According to him, there is strong interest from Bosnia and Herzegovina to expand cooperation with Indonesia’s defense industry.
Armin Limo also said Bosnia and Herzegovina has exported several defense-related products to Indonesia as part of the existing cooperation between the two countries.
However, he noted that there is still room to further improve the cooperation. “No matter how good the cooperation already is, it can always be better, and we are working on it and hope to continue improving it,” Armin Limo said.
He added that strengthening cooperation with Indonesian defense companies is part of efforts by both countries to further enhance bilateral relations in the defense sector.
