RRI.CO.ID, Jakarta - The Indonesian Air Force (TNI AU) continuously enhances the quality of its human resources through the development of education and training systems that are adaptive to future operational challenges. One of these efforts is to carry out through the study of military aviation education management practices from partner countries.
As part of this initiative, Commander of the Indonesian Air Force Doctrine, Education, and Training Command, Vice Marshal Age Wiraksono, conducted a working visit to several Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) education and training facilities from June 2 to 4, 2026.

According to a press release received by RRI Voice of Indonesia on Saturday, June 6, 2026, he visited three major RAAF training bases: Williams Air Force Base, Wagga Air Force Base, and East Sale Air Force Base.
The visit aimed to observe RAAF’s educational facilities, personnel development systems, and learning methodologies in preparing professional air force personnel capable of meeting a wide range of operational demands.
Through visits to various RAAF training institutions, the Indonesian Air Force gained valuable opportunities to exchange experiences and insights on military aviation education management. Best practices implemented by the RAAF are expected to serve as references for further enhancing the quality of education and training programs within the Indonesian Air Force.

Beyond supporting human resource development, the visit also formed part of broader efforts to strengthen cooperation between the Indonesian Air Force and the RAAF. Interactions throughout the program are expected to further enhance bilateral ties between the two air forces, particularly in the areas of education, training, and professional personnel development.
The initiative reflects the Indonesian Air Force’s commitment to building a modern, adaptive, and high-quality education system aimed at improving the professionalism of its airmen and strengthening operational readiness amid an increasingly dynamic strategic environment.
