RRI.CO.ID, Jakarta - Spokesperson for the Indonesian Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, Ichsan Marsha, said that the main series of Hajj pilgrimage activities, known as Arafah-Muzdalifah-Mina (Armuzna), in Saudi Arabia, had proceeded smoothly, orderly, and organized.
"Alhamdulillah, after the pilgrims performing wukuf in Arafah, spent the night in Muzdalifah, and Mina, and performed the stoning of the devils on the days of Tashreeq, a number of Indonesian pilgrims who chose the Nafar Thani pilgrimage are continuing their pilgrimage by performing the stoning of the devils on the third day of Tashreeq," Ichsan said in Mina, as stated on the ministry's official website.
He also expressed gratitude to the pilgrims who followed the officers' instructions and moved towards Jamarat on schedule. The discipline among pilgrims is crucial to ensuring the Mina pilgrimage is smooth, safe, and comfortable.
On the third day of Tashreeq, 13 Dzulhijjah 1447 H, coincides with Saturday, May 30, 2026, Indonesian pilgrims who choose the Nafar Thani perform the stoning of the devils (Ula, Wustha, and Aqabah).
"We urge all Indonesian pilgrims who choose the Nafar Thani to complete the stoning according to the schedule and then return to their tents in Mina to prepare for the journey to Mecca," Ichsan said.
This appeal is crucial to ensure the return process from Mina to Mecca is orderly, safe, and coordinated, and to avoid crowds on the mobilization routes. Pilgrims must follow instructions, maintain order, ensure no belongings are left behind, and prepare according to schedule for smooth service and comfort.
The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has assigned Mina Task Force officers to various monitoring points and along pilgrim movement routes. A total of 1,356 Mina Task Force officers have been deployed to provide support services, oversee operations, manage the flow of pilgrims, and respond quickly to pilgrims' needs.
Mina Task Force monitoring posts are located in several strategic locations, such as 616 St., 533 St., in front of Mina Al-Wadi Hospital, 627 St., under Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz St., the Muaysim Turki tunnel gate, in front of syarikah, as well as several posts directing pilgrims' movement towards Jamarat and posts monitoring the flow of pilgrims returning home after completing the stoning of the devil.
Ichsan explained that the posts' duties include directing Indonesian Hajj pilgrims to Jamarat, regulating traffic during the stoning of the devils, preventing congestion, and ensuring that pilgrims returning from Jamarat stay on a safe route.
Starting Saturday morning, Saudi Arabian time, pilgrims who chose the Nafar Thani route began departing from Mina to Mecca to return to their hotels. The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah warned that traffic to the hotels is expected to remain heavy and that transportation diversions are possible.
"We hope pilgrims are patient and calm on the way to their hotels. We'll do our best to drop them off in front, but if that's not possible due to road closures, we'll drop them off nearby. We appreciate your understanding and support," said Ichsan.
The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah advised pilgrims to maintain their health, noting the heat of day in Mina. They should drink water, eat regularly, use umbrellas or head coverings when outside, and limit physical activity.
The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah requests to group families, group leaders, squad leaders, and fellow pilgrims for pay more attention to elderly pilgrims, those with disabilities, women, and those with high health risks.
"We urge Indonesian pilgrims to be united, supportive, and look out for one another to ensure safe and comfortable Hajj pilgrimage," Ichsan concludes. ***
