RRI.CO.ID, Makkah - Indonesian Hajj officers held the first coordination meeting for Armuzna operations in Makkah on Tuesday, April 28, 2026. The meeting focused on preparations for the peak Hajj phases in Arafah, Muzdalifah, and Mina (shortened as Armuzna).

The meeting took place at the Makkah Working Area Office and was led by Head of Transportation for Indonesian Hajj Officers, Syarif Rahman. It was attended by heads of key sectors including pilgrim protection, Armuzna operations, elderly and disability services, and transportation.

Indonesian Hajj officers emphasized that all technical preparations for the 1447H/2026 Hajj season must be optimized. Coordination meetings will continue to ensure readiness across all operational aspects.

Syarif Rahman said officers must ensure maximum service delivery for pilgrims during the peak Hajj phase. He stressed that all operational components must be well prepared in advance.

“All officers must ensure maximum service for pilgrims. Therefore, all aspects must be prepared thoroughly,” Syarif Rahman conveyed.

The meeting discussed transportation readiness, including the number of buses, schedules, and terminal preparedness. Special attention was given to transport arrangements for elderly pilgrims and those with disabilities using wheelchairs.

Pilgrim protection services were also reviewed to ensure safety and smooth operations during the Hajj peak period. Coordination mechanisms were strengthened to support field operations.

Health services were another key focus, including medical personnel readiness and emergency response systems. Monitoring for elderly and high-risk pilgrims was also reinforced.

Syarif Rahman added that all officers are expected to be fully prepared to ensure smooth services for pilgrims. He emphasized that every aspect of service must be delivered in optimal condition.
