RRI.CO.ID, Jakarta - Indonesia has officially completed the full deployment of Hajj officers for the 1447 H/2026 M pilgrimage season. The final group departed from Jakarta on Friday, April 25, 2026.

A total of 168 officers were dispatched in the final batch, marking the completion of the overall deployment process. With this, Indonesia has sent 1,751 Hajj officers to serve pilgrims across Saudi Arabia.

The officers from the second wave for the Makkah working area departed from Hajj Dormitory Class I Jakarta. They are assigned to deliver comprehensive, on-the-ground services for Indonesian pilgrims in the Holy Land.

Director of Hajj Officer Development, Chandra Sulistio Reksoprodjo, emphasized the importance of thorough preparation before departure. He underlined that readiness must cover both administrative requirements and mental resilience.

Related to the essential role of Hajj officers in supporting pilgrims during their worship journey, he highlights Indonesia’s commitment to calm, humane, and supportive services.

“Your main task is to help reduce pilgrims’ stress. Therefore, create a calm, reassuring, and supportive atmosphere throughout your service,” he said.

He also reminded officers to consistently maintain and spread positive narratives about the Holy Land. According to him, constructive communication is essential in shaping a peaceful pilgrim experience.

“Share only good things about the Holy Land and honor it in every form of service you provide,” he said.

Meanwhile, Director General of Hajj and Umrah Organization, Puji Raharjo, stressed that the role of officers requires strong patience, emotional endurance, and technical mastery in the field. He added that officers represent Indonesia while delivering direct services to pilgrims.
