During the meeting, Ramos-Horta formally invited Megawati to Dili to receive the Grand Collar of the Order of Timor-Leste, the nation’s highest honor for contributions to international peace. The award has also been bestowed on Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim and the Sultan of Brunei.
