RRI.CO.ID, Jakarta - Indonesian young scientists continue to shine on the global stage. Six students from state-run Islamic senior high school Madrasah Aliyah Negeri (MAN) Insan Cendekia Serpong have advanced to the second phase of the National Training Camp (Pelatnas) for the 2025 National Science Olympiad (OSN), positioning them to represent Indonesia in international science competitions across six disciplines.
The achievement follows their success at OSN 2025, organized by the National Achievement Center (Puspresnas), where they secured medals before progressing through the first phase of the national training camp.
The six students are Muhammad Arya Razan (Chemistry), Faris Patria Chariansyah (Physics), Kevin Narendra A. P. (Astronomy), Nabila Hayyu Azzahra (Biology), Muhammad Ihsan (Earth Science), and Ahmad Rabbani Raja Saputra (Geography).
“This is the most beautiful gift for our madrasah. Thank you to all students and the academic community of MAN IC Serpong for their guidance. This achievement proves that madrasah students excel not only in religious studies but are also capable of competing at the forefront of science and technology globally,” Principal of MAN Insan Cendekia Serpong, Hilal Najmi, said on Sunday, February 22, 2026, as quoted on the Indonesian Ministry of Religious Affairs official website.
Najmi expressed hope that the success would inspire students across Indonesia, particularly within the madrasah system, to pursue excellence and embrace international competition. The school also called on the public for prayers and support, wishing the young delegates smooth preparation, success, and the opportunity to bring pride to Indonesia on the world stage. ***
