Indonesia Opens "Endless Horizons" Pavilion at WEF 2026

RRI.CO.ID, Davos – The official opening of the Indonesia Pavilion at World Economic Forum (WEF) 2026 took place in Davos, Switzerland, on Wednesday, 21 January 2026. This appearance marks a significant milestone in Indonesia's economic diplomacy.
Guided by the theme "Endless Horizons," the pavilion serves as a strategic hub for the nation to position itself as a "bridge builder." It is also a stable anchor for growth in an increasingly complex world.
"Endless Horizons speaks not only for scale, but also opportunities that emerge when governments, businesses, and communities work together," the host, CNBC Indonesia News Anchor, Shafinaz Nachiar, remarked in the opening ceremony.
The ceremony emphasized that dialogue in the current climate is no longer a luxury but a "strategic necessity." Indonesia pavilion aims to showcase the immense scale and opportunities available in Indonesia through public-private partnerships and impactful development.
The opening ceremony was attended by delegations representing the "Indonesia Incorporated" approach. It was attended by the Minister of Investment and Downstream Industries (BKPM) and CEO of Danantara, Indonesia Rosan Roeslani.
Even, important figure in attendance included representative of Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KADIN) Ayu Heni Rosan, and Vice Chair for Foreign Affairs of KADIN Indonesia Bernardino M. Vega.
The opening of the pavilion is a precursor to several major events, including President Prabowo Subianto’s keynote address scheduled for January 22. It marks the first time an Indonesian President has addressed the forum in over a decade.
