RRI.CO.ID, Jakarta - The government reaffirmed its commitment to providing disabled-inclusive and earthquake-resistant hospitals. These hospitals will be built via a program called Quick Win President Prabowo (PHTC). 

Health Ministry's Director General for Advanced Health dr. Azhar Jaya on Thursday, 5 February 2026 said that inclusivity and safety will be the main principle in the hospital development. The program will also focus on remote and border areas, as well as disaster-prone islands.

He further said the hospitals are designed to be disabled-friendly starting from ramp, wider doors and toilets, to other facilities. The building will be resistant to earthquake up to 8 Richter scale, following the standards of the Ministry of Public Works.

Director General Azhar further remarked that the government is not focusing on the quantity, but also the quality and security of the hospitals. This would allow the people to get a proper, safe, and dignified healthcare in any condition.

Meanwhile, Director General for Health Manpower, Yuli Farianti, said the government is preparing various schemes to provide the health workers. This will include special assignment, incentive, and specialist doctor education priority for local health workers.

“This approach is important so healthcare services in newly built hospitals operate optimally and sustainably,” she said on Thursday, 5 February 2026.

As quoted by the Ministry of Health website, the hospitals built via the Quick Win program will be serving those with the National Health Insurance (JKN). The government also expected those hospitals would foster national healthcare system, while also ensuring the people getting their right to inclusive and safe health services.
