RRI.CO.ID, Jakarta: The Borobudur Temple complex in Magelang, Central Java, served as a platform for Southeast Asian cultural heritage and fashion creativity to converge through the Modinity Fashion Parade (MFP) 2026 on Saturday, January 17, 2026.
This event provides a platform for the fashion industry in the Southeast Asian region to express themselves and demonstrate confidence, while also affirming fashion's position as a medium for evolving cultural narratives and identities.
"Here, our brands grow together, adhering to the values and communities we have built. This year feels different because Borobudur provides a stronger context for the stories we want to tell," said Linda Anggrea, Modinity Group CEO, in an official statement in Jakarta, Tuesday, January 20, 2026, as quoted by Antara.
She said that the Modinity Fashion Parade is an important part of Modinity's journey to build a sustainable fashion ecosystem. The event presents fashion as a holistic experience, where the collections, music, lighting, and the power of the location combine to create memorable and meaningful moments, not only because of the venue but also because of the message it conveys.
The Modinity Fashion Parade 2026 runway showcased collections from Buttonscarves, Benang Jarum, Nada Puspita, Zyta Delia, CALLA, and Rizman Ruzaini, with Buttonscarves Beauty as the Official Makeup Brand.
This year also marked Rizman Ruzaini's debut on the Modinity Fashion Parade runway, after the Malaysian fashion house officially joined the Modinity Group ecosystem in 2025.
Community is a key element of this year's event. Customers are present not just as spectators, but as part of the Modinity ecosystem, growing alongside the brands. According to her, customers came from across Indonesia to witness this moment. This shows a long-term relationship built on trust.
The Modinity Fashion Parade (MFP) is the Modinity Group's annual fashion event, showcasing the entire Modinity brand ecosystem in a series of shows. The parade featured over 200 models and nearly 1,000 invited guests.
Drawing inspiration from Borobudur's intergenerational historical value, the 2026 MFP, themed "Infinite Wonders," presented a storytelling approach blending past heritage with future direction. This approach reflects the belief that fashion is an ever-evolving dialogue shaped by craftsmanship, continuity, and the enduring presence of culture.
Yura Yunita, Marcell Siahaan, and Katon Bagaskara performed at the end of the show, creating an atmosphere that aligned with the event's overall concept. ***
