KBRN, Jakarta: Legendary Indonesian comedian Nasrullah, widely known as Mat Solar, passed away on Monday evening, March 17, 2025, at the age of 62.

Born on December 4, 1962, Mat Solar captivated audiences with his iconic roles in the sitcom "Bajaj Bajuri" and the soap opera "Tukang Bubur Naik Haji the Series," rri.co.id reported.

Mat Solar began his career in the entertainment industry at a young age. He adopted the stage name "Mat Solar" after performing in Teater Mama, a Betawi theater program aired on TVRI from 1978 to 1982, providing a platform for young talents.
