Meet Carmen: SM Entertainment’s Rising Idol from Indonesia

KBRN, Jakarta: Carmen, a young girl from Bali, Indonesia, is now in the spotlight of the K-pop world. News of her debut with the new SM Entertainment girl group, Hearts2Hearts, has excited fans.

SM Entertainment, the largest and most influential agency in K-pop, previously only recruited trainees from Korea, China, and Japan. However, Carmen has proven that exceptional talent can come from anywhere, including Indonesia.

At the SMTOWN LIVE 2025 concert in Seoul on Sunday (Jan 1), the new idol group Hearts2Hearts was introduced and is scheduled to debut in February 2025. Carmen was among the members featured in the SMTOWN 30th teaser video.

Although known as a more reserved trainee, Carmen began to gain public attention after attending an SNSD concert. She has also been seen at various other events alongside fellow SM Entertainment trainees.
