TNI AU Officer Completes International Aviation Safety Training in US

RRI.CO.ID, Jakarta - the Indonesian Air Force (TNI AU), Captain Deny Taufik Prianda, successfully completed the International Flight Safety Officer Course. It is organized by the Air Force Safety Center (AFSEC) at Kirtland Air Force Base (AFB), Albuquerque, New Mexico, United States.

The officer from Air Squadron 3 underwent training for 45 days, from April 29 to June 12, 2026. The international education program was attended by 17 participants from 12 countries.

During the training, participants received comprehensive training on aviation safety, including Human Factors, Risk Management, Investigation, and Safety Program Management. The materials are designed to enhance personnel's ability to identify, prevent, and address various aviation safety risks.

In a press release received by RRI VOI on Friday, June 13, 2026, the participation of Captain Deny Taufik Prianda in the program is part of the Indonesian Air Force's efforts to continuously improve human resource competencies thru international-standard education and training.

The knowledge and experience gained during the education are expected to support the strengthening of the flight and work safety culture within the TNI AU environment.

Moreover, this achievement is also expected to contribute to the realization of an adaptive, modern, professional, superior, and humanistic Indonesian Air Force (TNI AU) in facing increasingly complex task challenges.
