RRI.CO.ID, Jakarta - The Muljono Air Force Base (Lanud) has demonstrated its commitment to supporting human resource development thru a youth development program. As many as 772 students from Vocational High School (SMK) PGRI 1 Gresik participated in the Mental and Physical Development Program held in two batches during June 2026.

The first wave was attended by 385 students and took place from June 9 to 12, 2026. Meanwhile, the second wave will be held from June 22 to 25, 2026, involving 387 students.

In the program, participants received training to strengthen their character, mental resilience, and leadership spirit. The materials provided include discipline, leadership, national insight, love for the homeland, and the formation of a tough mentality.

Learning is delivered thru various methods, ranging from field exercises, motivational lectures, to marching drills. These activities are designed to foster cooperation, responsibility, and the ability to adapt to various situations.

In a press release received by RRI Voice of Indonesia on Sunday, June 14, 2026, Commander of Muljono Air Force Base, Colonel Ahmad Mulyono, stated that the training not only focuses on physical abilities and theoretical understanding but also on instilling character values as a foundation for the younger generation in the future.

"The main goal of the training is not only to provide physical or theoretical training, but also to instill noble values that will serve as a foundation in the lives of the participants, whether as students, members of society, or future leaders of the nation," he said.

He hopes that the program can produce a generation of young people who are excellent, have character, integrity, and a strong sense of nationalism to support the progress of the nation. Thru various youth development programs, the Air Force Base continues to strive to contribute to the creation of high-quality human resources ready to face future challenges.
